    Lapua 7.62x39 decent price?

We all know Lapua 7.62x39 brass is the considered the best 7.62x39 ammo. What is a good price for this ammo? Is $0.50 per round reasonable? Also, how is the terminal ballistics of the Lapua FMJ? Is it similar to M67?

It's pretty good ammo but the problem with Lapua and the reason why it is so expensive is because one person controls the import. A certain lawyer of Finnish extraction.

I bought my Lapua up in Canada and it was stupid cheap, like a box of 50 was 9.99 Canadian. I bought a ton of it and at the time, I didn't know that you can't bring ammo back from Canada but the border people gave me no issues other than pecking me on the head for buying Cuban Rum.

    It's my TEOWAWKI ammo.

I would buy up a whole bunch of Lapua 7.62x39 for $.50/rd if I found it at that price. If you're selling, let me know.

It's just consistent velocity ammo that is clean and the back of the bullet is flat.

Just very very clean burning ammo

Checked with Bitteroot. Stop by if you’re in their neighborhoods (Dillon and Hamilton MT) cause they’ve got it in stock for a decent price ($20/30rds) but they do not ship ammo.

This is the weak point of the AK series.

    The ammo is crap.

I've gotten near sub MOA with this ammo 5 rd.

I have the pictures to prove it with my AK55 and even my AMD65 likes it.

Using a chronograph, the velocity is very close and not off the wall like other ammo cannonfodder dirt beam shooting.

Don’t think we can blame the typical AKs “lack of precision” on the ammo. On a good day I can make sub-moa groups (5 shots, throw out the most distant) at 100m with cheap Brown Bear through my Howa 1500 bolt gun. The Lapua excels because it tends to eliminate the “flyers” from each group.

    That is true...

And the most powerfully correct statement that can illiterate Lapua ammo.

Dave Fortier went to the plant and it was clean and orderly.
