makes sense but the AKS-74u is chambered in 5.45 and the AKS-74UN is chambered in 5.56. So is the UN chambered in a different round and has a rail for Night Vision? The "N" can't be just the 5.45 and night vision. Oh, not sure if it's the correct designation but k-var refers to it as the AKS-74NU and not AKS-74UN

If you are including the Galil's don't forget the South African versions, the R-5 and the R-6. The R-5 is exactly the same as the SAR (with a few detail diferences) where as the R-6 fits a role similar to the MAR but does it a different way.

    R-5

R5: 877 mm (34.5 in) stock extended / 615 mm (24.2 in) stock folded, barrel is 332 mm (13.1 in) long and its 3.7 kg (8.2 lb).

    R-6

R6: 805 mm (31.7 in) stock extended / 565 mm (22.2 in) stock folded, barrel is 280 mm (11.0 in) and its 3.6 kg (7.9 lb)

Pics are from the web, I think from a South African. The weapons are also produced in semi-automatic only format, the LM-5 and LM-6 for police/civiy use.

This thread deserves to be tacked...and now it is.

    I completely agree.

Added some new stuff and re-ordered everything. It's now Alphabetically by country of origin.

Plus, added a section for non production builds that are seen "out in the wild"

    Re: Comprehensive krink list (update)

Need to add this one as well cause I need info on it! This is the romy carbine that was produced prior to the more mainstream variant of the AIM. It was first fielded in the Romanian Revolution Late 80's

Only found one source for this gun

It has a peculiar left side folding Crutch stock and that is what Im most interested in.

Does anyone have any good pictures of this stock other than whats posted in the above link?

This would be an excellent clone to have!

    Justin!
