With a little bit of accessorizing, the 104UR's can look very similar to a Tula krink. Also, you get the cool-factor of having your krinkov mostly factory built in Bulgaria, which is nice.

All in all, I didn't end up paying much more for these Tula parts, because I sold back the black plastic parts that came on it, effectively making me have paid about $60 for the replacement parts.

I also just received a Tula rolled edge sidefolder, making it an even more convincing fake. The big giveaways, however, are the pistol grip reinforcement plate and side rail. It's a nice substitute.

Still a great option that most people, not the purists like ourselves, will not be able to tell the difference. Btw beautiful SBR.

Don't just look for a parts kit. I just picked up a complete Tula rifle for $900 but it needs a new barrel.

Ah, so you're the one who snatched up the "Bulgarian" krink build on CalGuns

Nice score and and good eye on the tula vs bulgarian. Picked up a Bulgarian kit on gb recently BIN. No front or rear trunnion but otherwise complete for 500. No labeled caliber, but could tell it was 5.45x39. Original chf barrel too!
