Exclamation L&B - Carry Handles (Split Collar Pin, H-Bracket and Handle)

    Hello All,

We're doing this here as more an announcement, and to help those of you looking for handles - as I've seen a few different threads.

Up until now we (Lewisandblack.com) were waiting on these three separate pieces in order to build a complete handle. We officially have all of these parts in. It has taken months longer than we ever thought it would/should.

For those of you who ordered and waited, we apologize and appreciate you.

For those of you who ordered and canceled, we apologize. If you'd like to order again, we can ship them now.

For those of you looking, we have them!

For those of you wondering what the #^$*@ took so bloody long... a lot of things. The H-Bracket didn't meet our specs first time around. Had to ditch that manufacturer and find another. The Split Collar Pin was a pain in the butt to try to replicate. But 3-D printing and cool tech rock! They turned out great. The form 6 in Israel for the actual handle might as well have been divorce papers to a runaway spouse - whereabouts unknown. Needless to say, all have been acquired. We are prepping shipping for all orders and should ship out to you on the first of Jan.

As an aside, many have had trouble getting in touch with us and the like. I offer this next explanation as a reason, not an excuse for our lack of diligence to you as customers.

Lewis and Black was founded on family. The Patriarch of the family passed yesterday morning. Since around the week after Thanksgiving we have all been making our rounds to visit, comfort, love, and spend time with him. It shook us all a little more than anticipated. For this reason we have been very distracted. It shouldn't be the case, but it was. We apologize. Nonetheless, we are grateful for those of you who have contacted us and been willing to understand.

    Thank you!

    Condolences for your loss.

I was not aware of your family business prior to this post, but will check you out.

I'm just curious what this carry handle is for. It seems like I should know, but I don't. Any pictures of one in use?

OK, thanks. I don't have one of those and forgot about the carry handle.
