I think your finger slipped. What you meant was 300.

A handful of minor misfeeds every now and then but nothing pulling the bolt back and a good slap couldn't fix, as AK operators union recommends in his videos. Maybe I'm just lucky and got a gem. »\_(ツ)_/»

I plan on building an AK myself eventually, so maybe then I'll have better comparisons.

He's got a grip wrap on it so it's "featureless."

Center fire has a nice polish ak kit...about $350....polish barrel is new and all polish parts except the u.s.trigger guard...u.s. Furniture...barrel is all populated...i asked them...not sure if barrel is nitride or chrome..but still its like back in the day with barrel all set up..all new parts..thats what they said..i want to know how that came in poulated around the 2005 barrel ban(MAYBE BECAUSE ITS NEW IDK)...did not answer me....seems dam cheap to me...no numbers at all on any parts...just my personal opinion..since there all new parts i think thier buyer cut a deal over there to have these kits built for them...they might have them on a regular basis...??

Seems their magwells are a bit tighter than WASR's etc. Just be careful with your file on the mag catch and keep checking the fit until the mag locks in without great effort.

Yeah, the stupid thing is there but it is almost invisible next to the foam. Especially on a cell phone, which has thrown a few people off when I've shown it to them. Not that any of them would care otherwise.

I could have registered it as an assault weapon too and be able to have "evil features", which some people have done. Of course thats a whole snaffu since CA has really effed the registration process up, people were trying to register and the thing wasn't working, etc... so its all a big mess.

Which mag works best with the Riley Defense AK47? It came with a TAPCO mag, and it fits loose.

Loose mags are normal for any AK due to production variation for both the mags and the actual firearm. AKs don't need an exact fit like an AR magazine. Its perfectly normal for a little wiggle.

For my Riley I have a ton of different mags. Mostly Korean, but I also have some Magpul, TAPCO, Russian, and Polish mags. Some are tighter than others, some are looser. But they all work fine.

What about feed ramp issues? Is there a break in period for ak47s? I'm using tulammo and I also have wolf and some brass Winchester.

There should not be a break in period.
Mags will vary in fit depending on manufacturer and use, especially for surplus.
    Tapco is kinda bleh
Having said that, no idea on Riley Defense

I looked at a Riley Defense not too long ago at Dunham’s. Seemed ok. I don’t know anything about them though.
Dear Socialists: I have no money for you. I spent it all on guns and ammo.
