I need to get a military KaBar. I only have a bowie. I also like Eickhorn und Solingen stuff. I have never seen the Kampmesser 4000. I did not even know it existed.

I've looked and looked and in the end I found that in my case the simpler the better. I just use the Bulgarian bayonet.

Was considering a Tanto (12"+) but the price and type were never what I wanted. In the end the bayonet worked out.

toolshop.de (I would not call it a good deal every time but they will ship and there will be no hang ups), ebay, knife forums, and then there is the vendor in the U.S. based in Florida youwantit2.com (who has great customer service)

Ka-Bar for me, simple, sharp and tough as nails!!!
The Bulgarian bayonets are nice looking but can't be sharpend like the standard Ak baynet can.

All that Bulgarian Bayo would be good for is stabbing and cutting wire. They are useless as an actual knife. I could cut a piece of paper with mine, let alone skin and animal or something.

My favorite fighting style knife I've bought was the Camillus Black ops cuda. I don't have it anymore but it was a nice knife and the micarta grip was cool.

I like Glock Field knifes. They are cheap, light weight, use good high carbon steel that holds a edge well. I also like the simple lock up they do into the Glock sheath. Simple is better to me also.
