    $109 Project SKS

In the back of SGN, Hunters Lodge had some "Grade 2" Yugo SKSsfor $109. Has anyone ordered one of these. They have bad stocks and missing parts but I figure it would be perfect for a Crapco Tacticool set up.

Care to elaborate? I've never heard of them.

I bought a shooter grade Yugo SKS a couple years ago from Classic Arms for $79. Frosted, but strong bore. Over all good. Missing only the cleaning rod. I bought it knowing that CA grades their rifles well and I knew what to expect.

My son loved cleaning it up and shooting it when he was a teenager.

Unless I knew this place's reputation I think I'd be wary. Reminds me of a vendor who advertised EXCELLENT Yugo 24/47 Mausers that were missing cleaning rods, sight hoods and had dark bores. WTH? That's excellent?

Depending on how much you have to pay for a transfer fee, it could be worth rolling the dice.

FWIW- Although I have had no dealings with them myself and cant provide any links, I've heard the same thing concerning there reputaion. Might wanna get some second, or third opinions before placing an order.

A dealer I do business with told me some horror stories about ordering from them. Poor customer service and items not being as described. He order was so screwed up he went down to where there business is (Ethridge, TN I believe) and they refused to let him come in saying he had to schedule an appointment.
