What would Freud say about the current healthcare scare and toilet paper shortage?

Something about it being caused by a subconscious love and infatuation for your mother, and jealous of your father?

He’d probably say something like that.

He was an interesting guy to learn about in school.

Sounds like you need to re-think your prepping situation! Iíd have tons of formula at home for the baby.

Sadly, people always forget baby food, diapers, and (strange as it may seem) steak. People don't realize how thin the beef supply chain is.

I could probably get rid of my bed frame and replace it with all the ammo boxes I have.

My only concern is that working at Costco might have just become a lot more hazardous...

That department is covered. If you have pets, don't forget them.

I contributed to the problem and bought a 3 month supply. Unfortunately the formula thing is new. My wife’s dad died a couple weeks ago out of the blue. Her milk production nearly ceased and hasnt gone back the way it was since. I’m better off on diapers, I keep a few month supply of them. It’s the principle of it though.

Tbh I’m more worried about the dollar than the virus. My industry is dying from oil and gas prices. I know it’s nice for most people’s wallets but at the current rate I’m going to be unemployed by Christmas. I see the fed gave 500 billion to banks the other night in those stupid night loans. If this is going to be 2008 x2 it will be good to hedge your money.

Ha! Right now is the absolute worst time to buy ammo. Donít buy, sell what you donít want now and wait awhile until the idiots run out of money and ammo supplies replenish. Weíre gonna have another couple of years of cheap ammo yet

I got curious and looked up ammo lol

250 per 1000 for 9mm rounds from Blazer, but the 762 is barely up in price (and still cheaper than 9). The demand for pistol ammunition is a good thing. It means thy're worried about being able to feed their pistols, while our rifles stay in a food coma. Nighty night fuckers.

I recommend buying what you can prior to prices rising. Things will get worse. If you want to give alternative advice, please start your own thread my friend.

No. It's just the mob mentality and a buying frenzy that has a life of it's own. Just at Walmart to see what's going on there and then my local supermarket for some stuff I needed. The stuff that's sold out is so weird and random. People buy what they are someone else buy. My supermarket is almost out of toothpaste! WTF? Who needs that much toothpaste? But there was plenty of meat and not a bad amount of canned food. Meanwhile Walmart is out of canned soup but still has some canned meat and almost no raw meat. Even some water available in both places with the supermarket having a decent amount.

So if log in to SGammo and see something is low I start to think.... better get me some before it's gone! Not thinking that it'll be back, there'll be more and technically I don't need it for this panic

I received my monthly shipment 2,000 rounds 7.62x39. It did arrive about 10 days later than usual. Today I decided to order 2 more cases since the last shipment took longer. Now it says that Orders wont be shipped for 5 to 10 days after the order is received. My normal order is 1 case. I bumped it up when I saw the Outbreak in China. Since this order was later than usual I decided to get some more as I said. This year we have a few classes The family is taking together (if they don't get cancelled). Thats about 5,000 rounds per class for all of us. So I needed a bunch of ammo on hand. As of this morning they still have ammo (at least the brand I get). I haven't checked other calibers though. Everything will get back to normal after all this fear mongering is over with. Then you will see a stock pile of ammo just sitting on the shelves because everyone stocked up and didn't shoot it because the Corona Virus Walking Dead Zombies didn't appear as they were hoping for. If you have a thousand rounds just sit on it. If you are not in need of ammo for classes then I am sure people will make it through without firing a shot. Unless of course you live in CA, OR, WA or NY.
