Sicario, Taken and Wall Street. Not any of the sequels.

Too many favorites to pick just one, or even a hundred, so I tried to narrow it down to just one genre, Westerns.

Still too many I love to list them all. The Searchers, obviously, and Shane. The Wild Bunch, The Long Riders, The Magnificent Seven, and the original True Grit.

Many more, but I recently rewatched Will Penny and I had forgotten what a fine movie it is. Went poking around Youtube to post a clip and found this neat little feature where Charlton Heston gives a tour of Paramount Studio's gun room.

Hard to pick a single favorite. Red Dawn is not in my top 10, but Reds most certainly is.
We've got a hell of a lot more in common with the fellow citizens we're being trained to hate than the puppetmasters training us to hate them.

Where did you get your time machine? Part 3 has never been made, so are you referring to part 2?

Perhaps he was referencing Nexus Dawn

    or Nowhere to Run

Personally I thought Blade Runner 2049 was very well done. The only thing I did not like was the extremely tiny font chosen for the narrative words on screen. I had to internet those to know what it said.

The second one was ok...not great IMO, but not bad either.

Technically there’s been 3 of them. The original narrated version with the more positive, uplifting ending, the 2d non-narrated “directors cut” with the darker ending that implied Decker is a replicant, and the actual Bladerunner 2049 sequel. IMO “2049” was terribly written. Great scenes, awesome visuals, compelling characters and well acted, but the story itself was weak. I’m pretty sure Villeneuve got the director slot and just used it as his training project for “Dune,” which he is also directing and which just finished up it’s on-location filming in Jordan. I have extremely high hopes for this but low expectations. They’re planning it as a 3 film series just like Lord of the Rings.
