I'm still waiting for a politician who will volunteer to go kicking in doors for confiscation.
I don't want some rookie kid, who's 22 years old and doesn't know any better, I want a solid gun grabber politician willing to walk the walk, not just talk tough about it.
That crap will end before they make three houses down.

Like mental illness. What exactly is it and what is dangerous?

Having phobia..... irrational fear of something is a mental illness. So if a person is afraid of heights he or she is mentally ill. Same for germophobes or obsessive compulsive disorder or anorexia. Hell, even insomnia is a mental illness.

That's not the only one. Here's another being (largely) ignored.

The OH shooter possibly the first Antifa mass shooter.

I am able to watch Dayton news WHIO and the shooter's friends are saying it was mental problems. Which probably is the main cause. But having politicians inciting violence would be a big contributing factor. A former friend of the shooter said Betts put a gun to his (friend) head and said I could blow your brains out. They quit be friends after that. Other people and including his girlfriend said he talked about mass shootings.

Another of the shooter's friend, Will El-Fakir, told police Betts was "definitely not a right-leaning person. His political views definitely leaned to the left." Voting records reviewed by the Dayton Daily News say Betts had been a registered Democrat. There is a surprise.

I now learned the shooter was seen carrying a gun and protesting the KKK rally held in Dayton in May. It was the same gun he used Sunday. He wore a bandanna partly covering his face and sunglasses. He spoke to a reporter in the crowd during the event.

Sounds like Antifa is like the Weather Underground of the 60's and 70's which Obama was friends with.

Nope........people will cave in. They care about there kids, home, and free life style. Not realizing with out the ability to fight back they loose it all anyway. There will always be a few who are willing to kick the bullies in the balls. aka Oklahoma city If they start rounding up guns 90% will comply , but there will be some that give them Hell.

You're not going to have due process, they're going to come to your house and take your guns and hold them until you prove yourself not guilty or sane.

I agree with you. I do not like any red flag laws. Rereading what I posted makes it sound like I want DeWine's red flag law. I do not. I am posting what he said. Red flag laws, no matter what they are called, take away people's rights when someone has not even been convicted of a crime. It is another gun confiscation scheme disguised as a public health matter.

There are the same people who think letting in millions of foreign immigrants will do no harm to the economy, when its a proven fact that some unscrupulous employers will pay these folks a very low wage knowing full well they cannot complain due to their being in this country illegally.

There are the same people Who scream about a $15 an hour minimum wage, and when they get it, watch on as hours are cut, and some jobs are lost due to automation. Think self checkout lines at your local Wallmart, and customer ordering terminals at fast food joints. Even their very own patron saint of this idiocy Bernie Sanders refuses to pay his own campaign workers when its coming out of his own funds, proving once again that he is a true socialist in word and deed.

There are the same people that constantly tell their TV audiences that Nazis and white supremacy are everywhere, but then do interviews with terrorists in Antifa, and always make excuses for them. The list goes on, but get the point. Its doublethink.

There is another country that has laws like this, and will be fully implemented by 2020, and that country is China. I wonder if there is any connection to US companies like Google working with the Chinese government in order to help them implement this little magnum opus:

If you observe people and watch the news closely enough you'll see how far a bit of politically correct "group think" can filter through society.
I was recently talking with a rather affluent lady in her mid fifties and the conversation ( and I didn't lead it this way) moved toward politics and she began to sings the praises of a certain nominee.
In fact, she knew nothing about that nominee's rather shady past. The only thing she really knew about this person was the media hype being sold to her.

Come to find out, this lady's husband left her for a younger woman that he worked with and she had a Son who she claimed was not guilty of DUI, but charged even though the BAC was 0, the prosecutor just sat on the results and dragged the case on for a year.

When I explained to her that her favorite candidate had an affair with a married man that she worked with and as a Attorney General with held evidence that would have gotten an innocent man off of death row in California, she looked at me as if I had taken a crap in her handbag. Then she got angry, not at being fooled by the media, or by the group think that brought her to this decision, she got angry with me.
Liberals have been chipping away at gun rights for years. When we hit the tipping point, a lot of people you thought were fairly normal are going to flip on you and not hesitate when they do so.
I would be very, very careful about who you talk to from here out.

that certain nominee also claimed to have smoked weed while listening to Tupac while she was in college in the mid 80s, despite the fact pac didnt drop an album till 91("thug life"). Also, that nominee got her start by having an affair with a SF mayor who was from good ole mineola Texas
