Rofl I bought my first revolver at 28 and I won’t go back to junk ass auto loaders. (Glock blows) fuckin modern cop guns. My philosophy, if you can’t hit the guy in 5 or 6 rounds....you need to go to the range 😂

Anyways All 3 are .357 mag

Ruger NM Blackhawk Bisley edition 7-1/2in, picked it up on a Black Friday sale years ago. Only fired 6 shots for test. (It has been fired before)

Ruger GP100 6in, bought brand new in box, fired over 1000 rounds, flawless... damn I loved that one. Houge grip 👍

EDC ruger LCR 1.25in snub, Super easy to conceal and get out, even in my swimming trunks!! (No not while swimming lol) Eh I need to upgrade...

Still a lot of old farts out there able kick ass when needed. Now I wish I could change the title of the thread to “Old Farts With Guns And Poor Eyesight”. That’s a scary thought but since I qualify as an old fart now all of you damn whippersnappers can kiss my wrinkly ass. Dammit, I can’t find my walker! Ssshhh- don’t tell anybody I have 8 pistols hidden in it.

I saw a third one like it but stainless and I think not ported. I do not know how many were made. It is titanium frame, snub nose, .45 Colt, ported barrel, bright spectrum blue finish with Ribber grips. It is lighter than a steel J-frame size revolver. It is kind of a handful to shoot. The ported barrel keeps the muzzle down but feels like being punched in the hand every time it is being shot. I only had two revolvers for a long time. Then a friend of mine kept talking about Smith & Wesson revolvers. He is a retired cop and carried a Smith revolver half of his career. So I bought one. Then they kept multiplying. The first was my Model 10. Then I bought other brands of revolvers. My favorite is my S&W Model 66. The Model 66 is the stainless version of the Model 19. The Model 19 is called the peace officer's dream gun.

My Smith family. Top break, I-frame, J-Frame, K-frames, and N-frame.

My other wheel guns. A couple of Colts, Ruger, Miroku Liberty Chief, and Merwin Hulbert. I never heard of Merwin Hulbert until I saw one of my friends had this one. I bought it from him along with the Miroku. The Merwin's had better quality than S&W and Colt. I knew Miroku made shotguns for Browning and rifles for Winchester but I did not know they had made revolvers.

    Sir,
That’s a very nice collection and so far I declare you as the Revolver King. Let’s wait and see if anyone can come close without pulling fake images from the interweb. Thx for the post.

My first handgun was a revolver and while I probably have more autos, wheel guns will always have a place in my safe.

    Smith N frames:

British contract .455 MkII from 1917

    I also have a few K frames:

    A pair of 1948 vintage K22 Masterpieces

    1950 K38 Masterpiece.

1954 Combat Masterpiece wearing a set of period correct non relieved target stocks.

    More to come........

And people think guns can't be pretty. While I like all types of guns, steel and wood can't be beat for looks. Nice Smith collection.

Thanks for the comment. I have a small collection of revolvers. I know there will be people who have a larger collection than me and be far more knowledgeable than me about revolvers.

Model 1899 (First Model) Target made in 1901. It's estimated that fewer than 100 of these still survive in original condition.

    1954 "Baby" Chief.

    15-3

1942 M&P Model 1905 fourth change, AKA "Victory Model"

    Next up, a few Colts..........

There are a LOT of old revolvers out there and many of them have grand tales that accompany them. So please, if it has a story, we would all like to hear it. Also to all you lazy bastards that haven’t gotten off your ass yet to snap some pics, LET’S GO!

The 1851 Navy is beautiful! Well, they’re all beautiful but that one makes me all warm and fuzzy.
