Our pool wasn’t cleaned by Monday, but it was still an ok day. Shot my Mosin, ate bbq, and tried a modelo for first time.
I like Mexican beers but not so much Modelo, it's ok though. My favorite way (and only way) to drink it is by getting a big mug, then pouring a single shot of Tequilla in it. Next, I add three cans of regular old Modelo and squeeze a couple lime slices into it. Shit is awesome.
Got a new Trijicon 1-8x and Midwest Ind. mount for the SR-15 that needs zeroing.
For the record- Great scope, but a friggin' BRICK. Thing easily weighs nearly 1/2 of the rifle's weight w/the mount. Dunno if anyone in here's running one, but FTR- they perform amazingly. I roughed in and was zeroed at 100yds in 6 groups. Thing just weighs a ton.
Anybody else in here MidWest fans? IMO they easily rival much higher end stuff.
