    This Mauser thing is getting out of hand.

    Picked this one up late last week, It is one of the drilled and tapped M48's Century imported and sold back in 2008. It's numbers matching and has a beautiful bore. The previous owner picked up a Zrac scope set-up to put on it and packed it away. It still needs a good cleaning to get rid of the last of the cosmoline on it. Hope to get it to the range in the next couple of weeks.

    Any problem can be solved with the proper application of high explosives, the trick is to not be around when they go off.

    I know a local Mauser collector and the prices some are fetching is amazing, woulda, shoulda, coulda..

    Very nice! That ammo you bought should do well for you when you test fire it. You might consider using other ammo to get the zero close, then switching to the M75 to see how much your group shrinks.

    I wanted one of these. Looks cool. I'm over the mausers and most guns in general. They're solid though.
    Kinda want a 700sa with a wto switch lug . Got a folding choate ultimate plaster stock a while back. It always starts with a stock or something right? lol
