    Anyone here likes big knives?

I enjoy other weapons than just guns, I also enjoy knives and other edged weapons. So here’s two of my knives. The one on the left is a custom made Arkansas Toothpick; which is a double edge Bowie that was common here in the south supposedly. It was made by burnedmetal forge on etsy for pretty cheap. Less than 300$, it’s made for self defense and is too thin for any type of work other than defense. The one on the right is a classic Bowie I bought at a flea market a few days ago, only 25 bucks. Guy said he used it to skin deer and unlike my Toothpick; it is thick enough to chop wood and what not. It was made by Tradmontina.

Sweet big ol' knives you got there. The sheath for that custom job looks really cool. Looks like something a tribesman made after consuming a few peyote buttons.

The only really "big" knife in my meager collection at the moment is a 1980 model (date code letter "D") W49 Western Bowie. I believe it was made in Colorado - before Coleman bought out the company. Occasionally our guys in Vietnam used to buy this particular model at the PX and carry them in the field. This one was supposedly carried by an advisor.

That's mine on the far left:

I’m not sure who made it, but it is nice. Now I did here of Bowies and even bolos being brought in Vietnam by our troops, which is pretty badass.

Don’t have anything larger than a Ka Bar currently, but I ordered a Randall last year in case I wanted one in 2023.

    Mullo, that dagger's badass.
Russkie Bot, me likey all o' thems
Scotty, I now have an erection.

The truck knife, my old Ontario belt knife I wore growing up, and the Mora as a belt knife. I enjoy sharpening as much as collecting nowadays.
    SAM_2520.JPG
I use that Mora every single day. Man that handle's dirty...
Sheath snapped on me awhile back. Took gutted 550 cord, wrapped it tight, then took a paint brush and crazy glue and gobbed it on all over. Solid as FOOK.
Finish w/ camo paint and BAM.
