    OGCA meetup

Spent the morning at the OGCA show with these 2 gentlemen, 10g, & Ammo Squirrel (FNA Joe Momma)

We had a great time selling a few things, looking for bargains and listening to 10g's theory on why I get better deals when the Squirrel isn't close by.

Sounds good sir, IIRC I think it is about $40.00/yr which gets you into the members only shows and a bi monthly news letter. I like there shows because you see stuff you wont see at most gun shows and they don't allow people to sell beef jerky, fantasy knives and Amsoil.

So no jerky, fantasy knives, Amsoil or tentacles?

I might have to rethink this.

Nope, but some reasonably good deals here and there. I saw one Mauser I've only seen in books for sale, and the price was actually not too bad, I just did not have enough. I also loved the bring back ChiCom SKS rifle, but again, not enough funds this time.
I did find a quantity of Romanian 8mm ammo packed on stripper clips, which does not sound unusual, but this stuff was brass cased, not steel. I've never seen this stuff before in over 20 years, so I bought 140 rounds to see how it shoots.

It wasn't for sale and heck I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be presented as a gift but someone had an oversize gavel that had a 2nd Amendment plaque on it. I called it the "Ban Hammer" and got a few pictures. It was surprisingly light. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Inside the show someone had a hard case that was for a saber and the damn thing looked like a giant sperm. I mean how else are you supposed to transport T-rex spooge? A little dab'll do ya! or in that case yabba dabba do
