    AK74 Parts Kit completion:)

Well I had the headache of waiting at the DPS all F--king afternoon, so I could finally pick up my receiver:P Long story aside I finally completed my Bulgarian AK74 kit. All I need now are a few compliance parts and that Bulgarian scope rail I ordered a couple days ago

Thank you so much to everybody who has helped up to this point!!

And that is saying something coming through Collectors "of wallets" Firearms.

I bought my first two suppressors there - retail - because they were the only local dealer with what I wanted in stock. Silencer Shop had been OOS for months. Having suppressors in stock meant Form 4 was filed immediately after purchase. That was December 2015 when we didn't know WHAT was going to happen with 41P, but we knew SOMETHING was happening. That was a stressful time period. Form 4 approved in May 2016 - would have been sooner but Collectors screwed up on my trust name and that delayed the process.

OP must really be in Houston.

Collector's Firearms Pricing really sucks, Carcano's for 450, Mosin m44's for 550? Bolt Action Mossberg Shotguns for near 400?????? Yeah no way!!, but they "surprisingly" had the cheapest transfer near me at 20, compared to others 35-40. On a side note, I will say that the place is beautiful and worth a look, especially if you like old surplus and west stuff but spend money elsewhere.

Only thing I was surprised to find they didn't have was a Ruger .44 Carbine, but the Price tag would have been to crazy I'm sure.

I do like walking through Collectors and looking at the milsurp section.

Last year there was a Polytech M14 that already had a US M14 bolt fitted. At $1100 it was tempting.

I've also seen a few AK's built on 74ULLC receivers in there.

They don't have oodles of inventory like Collectors, but $15 transfers at Lone Star Defense and Arms on Long Point in Spring Branch. David and Amy are very friendly, professional and great to deal with. They often have some nice consignment firearms - a friend bought nice East German military Makarov there for about $300. Tell them "Caveman Steve" sent you. They'll know. I need to go see them - it has been a while.
