Post up yer Mil surp bolt gunz

Ok me first, M1903A3 Smith Corona with what appears to be a scant grip stock with SC factory markings. Mid production 4 groove barrel, 1.5 muzzle erosion gage, Springfield made stock and a Remington bolt and will not close on the nogo. Always wanted the A4 but they is pretty pricey and even the repros are up there. Figured this is about as good as it gets for a WWII US issue bolt gun.

I have well over a hundred milsurps in my collection as that is what I mostly collect but most are in storage since I have not bought a house yet after graduating college and starting my job a few years ago. I can't wait to get a house and set up my gun room again!

Starting to build up my milsurp Mauser bolt collection. Looking to ideally have 1 of each K98k from every Manufacturer and period (Pre/Early/Mid/Late) and then maybe expand into more exotic WW2, such as depot builds and G24(t), G29o, G33/40, etc and WW1.

    Collection so far:
    1929 Czech-made Persian 98/29 (all matching)
    1926 Czech VZ-24 (all matching)
    1938 German Mauser-Oberndorf (S/42) K98k (bolt m/m)
    1942 German Steyr-Daimler-Puch (BNZ) K98k (bolt m/m)
    1930 Czech-made Persian M30 (all matching)
    1949 Persian-made M49 (all matching)

Unmolested factory original M96 that is 115 years old, and will still outshoot most of the new stuff made today. It likely had a barrel change decades ago, but this was part of normal upgrades. Everything else is stamped matching and correct.

All matching down to the screws DWM 1916 GEW98. Its a very good shooter with heavy ball once you figure out your holds to compensate for the 400M sight.
