I've thought about making some receiver sections out of plexi glass and drilling the 3 holes and installing all the parts.

You can put up a WTB add for receiver pieces or polish blanks. For a AR or M16 you're only option is a 80% receiver.

Before any work is done i would suggest destroying any part of the receiver that would make it operational.

I like the idea of using a plexiglass frames for setting up the AR and AK trigger sets, that would be cool.

Ran into a guy here who had a few complete intact demo rifles, including a beautiful Polish milled AK. Only problem is, they are as illegal as hell. Despite windows being cut into everything, barrel ruined, totally inoperable, it is legally the same thing as a full auto rifle when the three pins are anchored in an actual receiver and everything operates mechanically.

We've got a hell of a lot more in common with the fellow citizens we're being trained to hate than the puppetmasters training us to hate them.

Surprisingly, they are not cheap. Last complete one I seen was a AK trigger system with trigger guard and all set up as a display piece and it went for over $300 on ebay! That was about 2 years ago and it was ebay so who knows if it was a fluke or not.

I havent looked but I would think the best donor receiver setup would be from the RGuns kits. The receiver is cut in a way that the trigger area is still intact. I'll have to dig through my RGuns kits and see if it will work.

There was a cut away parts kit on gunbroker for a long time it was a polish t3 but you'd have to get the reciever rebuilt. It may still be on there

I've got one of the Polish cutaway T3s and it's lovely. All matching, gorgeous cuts (except the demil cuts).

Apex charged "collector pricing" on them so they sat on them for a long time. Worth it to me, though. I love cutaways.

Get a 3D printer or a person or place that has one so that you could have whatever you want legally made.

I remember those. Somthing like $270 or $370 or so? I remember thinking why? But it does have its uses and would be the perfect wall art.

It was $325 plus shipping, IIRC. The cut portion of the receiver is a mess, but at least they took the effort to keep the pieces of each gun together so they roughly fit when you lay them out, which is nice (Thanks Apex, BTW).

Been meaning to pull it out and document all the intentionally cut portions. Started with the bolt last year and got distracted by something else. Notice they carefully blunted the tip of the firing pin so there could be no possible mishaps with recruits.

    Wow! Very nice Rchard W.!

Judging by the bolt, it looks like they we're new guns also.
