    Clearview investiments....gtg or scam?

About to buy some parts kits from them but when I click on the "full site" option via my phone it takes me to a different site, and trying to access to my shopping cart i get a "untrusted connection" warning.

Anyone got any info?cause my spidey sense is tingling.

I bought one of their AK74 accessory packs off of them several years ago I felt like I got robbed for the shipping surcharge since it cost more than the product itself. Other than that the product they sent me was good and I was happy with it. They look like they have a lot of good stuff right now.

I've just very recently placed an order for a part with them. Nothing big, just an AKM rear fixed stock trunnion. Everything went just as it should... card was charged when it should be (upon shipment), item was packaged and shipped promptly, and I was provided a tracking number and emailed invoice for the transaction. The part arrived exactly as advertised. I will say this, their checkout procedure was definitely.. odd.. comparatively speaking. I order things online fairly often and from a wide variety of places, but I've never, ever, seen that particular format they use any where else. So, that may speak toward your unease about your shopping cart concerns. I too thought it was strange. My experience is singular, so I can't offer any advice that spans time, but I believe you should be able to buy with confidence. Hope that helps!

Thanks for posting that. I have been searching for Hungarian parts and it is nice to see some Hungy rear trunnions.

They are GTG. Them and Centerfire Systems are basically the same company but with some loose legal line between them.

They were a major player years ago. Both companies are the same. The start of their downfall was when Yugo kits started coming in. It was still legal for kits to have barrels, & their sample gun was perfect, so they advertised kits with perfect barrels. When the mother load of kits arrived, & started to arrive at customers who then realized the barrels all looked like sewer pipes, everyone wanted a refund. They never recovered from that. About 3 years ago, they were selling FEG AK's made in Hungary, & they were nice. I seem to remember a gal "Lois" running the place, but after the Yugo Fiasco, she was gone. GARY

I used to buy a lot from centerfire. They always have decent deals if you buy in bulk. But I quit buying from them when they wouldn't ship parts kits to WA state anymore...even though there is no law against it and everybody else does....

I remember those! They were around $350 and I still kick myself for not buying a couple!

Ok thanks guys will order a few kits from them.

I was going to do a clone of the brp stg 34k conversions on the suomi, but cant source any mg34 complete grip assemblies.

Trying to figure what kind of crazy build to do instead.
