    Sundance TV series "Deutschland 83"

Looked good , loved the backdrop and the concept is sharp. Looks like it will be more to my liking than the Series "The Americans" ...

    Does look good.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two seasons of The Americans that I watched.

I'm a big fan of 'The Americans', even if the super-spies get a little hard to believe at times.

Will definitely check this one out - thanks!

Thanks, I'll be checking this one out. I really liked the film "The Lives Of Others", so hopefully this will be good as well.

Between russian and English I can catch enough German but it's not always as it's ment. I don't have a problem with foreign language films or subtitles I just get headaches from trying to read and keep up with the screen action. By the end of a show I'm downing advil like pez candy. Otherwise it looks like a pretty good show

Episode 3 really turned it up a few notches , can't wait for the Army Training scenes and more of the "Smokin Hot over 40 Women" and 80s cars & backdrop of that era to splash each episode ...

I watch it and don't mind the subtitles too much but if it was filmed in English it would be better but that's just my selfish American viewpoint.

I saw the previews for this. Has it started already? I couldn't remember the title of the show nor the network.

The series is set in West Germany right? That's a bit of a minus for me as I really liked The Lives of Others and Goodbye Lenin.
