My mom is (Now a Glock Owner)

Or rather she will be once it gets to the ffl.

This was too good a deal not to upgrade her.

She currently has a S&W 915 I gave her a few years back and it was time to get her something else.

    Looks like a great buy.

Wish I could get my mom to pack heat.

Yeah, like everything else on their site! I wish they would do some organizing and maybe even put word on when stuff is expected to be back in stock.

That sounds like something a company might do if they were having trouble moving product.
AIM seems to have the opposite type of problem LOL.
    Take heart.

That's good Glocks are great and the G19 is an excellent pistol but you must take the time to impress upon her the need to keep her finger off the trigger always. Her new Glock isn't anything like her old 915 pistol when it comes to the conventional safety on her old pistol.
Put your finger (or anything like keys) in the trigger guard that depresses the trigger just a little and it will go bang.
And if you get her a holster get a dedicated Glock one.

I ordered one last week and it sounds like there is/was a problem between AIM and the Dealer getting his FFL. I might have missed this deal because of it

Re: My mom is (Now a Glock Owner)

Glock deals seems to pop up every now & then if you're patient (but mostly on the .40 cal G23). I would have felt more cheated if they had been gen 3 G19 pistols. I have a friend that is dying for a deal like that.

P.S. - let me know if you see any deals & I'll do the same!

Re: My mom is (Now a Glock Owner)

My mom just took a class for her CWL, just needs to mail in the application. I let her shoot my G23 with the 9mm LW barrel in it, she really liked it, so I am thinking a G19 may be right for her. The .40 had a bit much recoil for her, she is a new shooter.
