    $1 frame

Got the frame at the 99 cent store.

I got a question, if you leave a photo in a frame for years sometimes it will stick to the glass. Is there a way to prevent this or way to remove them from old frames?

Well a quick search provided some simple information. Keep the photo away from the glass by using a felt mat or a spacer of some kind. Good question.

Damn good looking photo. Wish I would have gotten in on those.

I framed a few pics I found in Grandpa's WWII USMC scrapbook. The folks at Aaron Bros seemed more concerned about sun damage/fade rather than the photo sticking over time. There are some frames available with photo quality glass, but you won't find them in a $0.99 store.

If its a photo I really wanted to keep nice (like a signed photo) I would do a high res scan and print a copy....display the copy ..let it fade and keep the original in a nice folder between archival grade acid free paper.

Hmm I think you're onto something here. I'll see if I can get it reprinted and maybe offer them up for cheap.

Renaissance Wax can help to preserve the photo.

    Re: $1 frame

I talked to a local frame shop and they have a frame with UV coated glass on front and back and they space the photo so that it doesnt touch the glass at all. Costs about $40 but it will be protected for a lifetime and you can see both sides
