    That's kinda cool. And the closer the camera got the more uncomfortable I felt.
    That's a whole lot of rotating, whizzing, mass right there.
    I don't "run" my guns or "run" anything on them. Likewise, none of my guns are "platforms".

    The old steam is pretty neat. I was an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad. I wasn't steam qualified so never got to run the 844 (by the way the 844 is the passenger number, originally it was a freight unit numbered 8444). I did run that 6900 unit that was behind the yellow tender, from Cheyenne, Wyo to North Platte Neb. That's a double unit, two motors on one frame. A lot of power but real heavy and beat the heck out of the track.

    That whistle sounds badass authentic. I'm glad someone is maintaining this knowledge too, it will come back with "peak oil" and all.
    My two favorite teams are the Houston Texans, and whoever is playing the Cowboys
