I don't think there's any pot metal involved in it. I've looked at a few in person and it seemed like quality materials. Guess I'll see when I get home today.

Mikov 241 Predator Leverlock Automatic Knife Dark Horn (3.75" Polish) - Blade HQ

ups man arrived! This knife is pretty sweet! Looked it over and it's pretty solid and well made.Dark horn scales are high polished. It snaps open pretty fast. I like it, might even be my new favorite over my old 13" Italian pick lock. Posted the link since my photo posting ability is crap. Looks like the one on blade hq's site. Only thing I wasn't impressed with blade hq's packaging. That box looked like ups used it for a football but the contents were safe.

The vid in the link is a pretty accurate description of the knife.

For "automatic" knife that system is really slow!

Pops open pretty fast to me. In comparison to benchmade, microtech, or xyz ultra kool knife company then yeah it might be a little slow on the draw. But I'd put it as fast as akc, beltrame and Hubertus in the speed category.

And what is faster and of good quality? My Boker knives all open at about that speed, and those are serious quality.

I had this in 1998/99, it was faster to open one handed - one movement, not 2 like on that "automatic".
Now I am for more traditional folding knives, don't care about speed.

In some States they are legal and allow carry, in others, they are not legal, and a few allow them for collecting purposes. Its best to check the laws personally just to be safe.

Most states they are legal now. By federal law It is illegal to import from overseas and it is illegal to buy from another state in which you do not reside and it is illegal to ship by USPS.

I think Arkansas is one of the no go for civilian carry but it's ok to collect them. I like to stay on Johnny laws good side so I leave the fun stuff at home.
