    Esee-6

Well, I finally pulled the trigger on an ESEE-6 for use as a field knife, and now I'm kicking myself that I didn't get one sooner. This thing is a HOSS of a knife, but it's much livelier in the hand than some of my smaller fixed blades.

I'm looking at an ESEE-3 or 4 for EDC now, and these will probably replace most of my other knives for all the tasks I have in mind around camp or back yard.

I've been thinking about one of those for a while myself.

Did you get the combo blade or straight?

Before anyone else says it here, "Pics or it didn't happen."

I got the plain edge without the clip point. The clipped point makes the knife impossible to use as a draw knife, plus it's not really a usable edge for most work.

I'll be posting pics after I get off work this evening.

I'm most likely going to be a frequent customer at ESEE, because they have really got some nice knives for good prices. I'm leaning toward a 3 or 4 for EDC, with the 6 riding on my rucksack out in the field.

ESEE knives are fantastic. I've been using an ESEE 6 when camping/hiking/etc. for several years now. Excellent choice!

    Found my EDC knife.

Just posted an "I'll Take It" on a Laser Strike for $100 shipped.

Looks brand new, but not for long!
