The Run-Off election is today. I will post the results as they become available this evening. There is a lot of support for Steve locally and in D.C. along with many in the conservative
    national media.

Wishing Steve and the Two Rivers Arms gang all the best today!

Thanks for keeping us updated man!

I'm praying that this leads to the oval office, and that his first order of action will address a certain ban on barrels

Congratulations are in order for Steve Russell and his entire campaign staff. He took a sizeable lead early this evening and continued to gain as more results came in.

Steve will be running against Democrat opponent Al McAffrey in the November election. Total Democrat turnout numbers show that Steve alone had more

votes than the entire Democrat turn out. Oklahoma is primarily Republican and these numbers bode well for a U.S. House of Representatives win for Steve

    in the November election.

Congratulations are also in order for Tim (zeek) and the hard work He, Shawn and Ed have put in at Two Rivers Arms in order to free up Steve for this now continuing campaign.

Steve Russell is the leading candidate going into Tuesday's election. His campaign ads are running on social media, television and radio throughout Oklahoma City. He is sharing the same watch party
with our Govenor and Congressmen. This is shaping up to be a really impressive event for Steve and Two Rivers Arms. I will keep you informed with the final results Tuesday evening.

    GOOD LUCK STEVE!!

OKLAHOMA CITY - New poll results show which candidate Oklahoma City voters favor for Congress in the 5th District.
Our final pre-election poll shows Republican Steve Russell in the lead with 55 percent of the votes while Democrat Al McAffrey trails with 31 percent.

    Steve Russell

(AP) -- Republican Steve Russell has won an open U.S. House seat representing central Oklahoma's 5th Congressional District.

The former state senator defeated Democratic state Sen. Al McAffrey in Tuesday's election. The seat is being vacated by Republican U.S. Rep. James Lankford.

Russell says the United States' economy, its relationship with other nations and the rise of Islamic extremists are among issues he was most questioned about by voters during the campaign.
Russell is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel whose career culminated with the U.S. invasion of Iraq. He wrote the book "We Got Him," about his unit's role in the hunt for and capture of
Saddam Hussein. He regularly speaks at events across the nation.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Poll results confirmed Republican Steve Russell won the Oklahoma City race for Congress in the 5th District, defeating Democrat Al McAffrey.

Steve is "Front Page" news today along with appearances on multiple television and radio programs. His Facebook page has remained very busy throughout the night with praises and congratulations
from across the United States and branches of our military. Steve is very highly regarded has a decorated leader in both the Oklahoma State Senate and the U.S. Army.

In talking with Steve recently, I expect to see actions taken in Washington that will have positive, far reaching effects on our hobby and passion we all share at the AK Forum.
