Does anyone know where Chinese Type 50 PPS's were exported to?

For example, were they exported to the Middle East? A book I read about the Palestinian Fedayeen, years ago, stated that the Chinese sent "Mao submachine guns" to groups like Fatah and the PLO. Could those have been Type 50s? What about Africa, and elsewhere in Asia?

It's a captured gun stored in a military museum in Taipei.

Who in Central America would want to get Type 50s? Communist guerrillas? Drug smugglers? Also, where would the dealers get the weapons? Probably any number of places, I suspect. Weapons can travel quite a ways.

I know about Chinese Type 53 Mosins in Vietnam, but I never heard of them in Central America. Do you know who had them and how they got them? Also, I didn't know PPShs and PPS43s were in El Salvador. Could you tell me more about that if you don't mind? Finally, I knew that Nicaragua had PPSh 41s, but not PPS 43s.
