Don't forget that Faceberg basically acts as a giant intel-collection operation and colludes with the government.

Wouldn't want to infringe on their freedom of capitalism, though. That might ruin this great country handed down from The Founders conservatives have worked tirelessly to preserve.

Let's see what "sticking to Republican ideals" hath wrought.

Endless, unchecked, 3rd world immigration that "Just can't be stopped no matter what. Sorry. We need more consumers to buy things from China and wage depression."
Females being able to pop out newborn children and then decide to kill them in at least 2 states now (NY, VA) on top of nationwide legal abortion.
A society completely addicted to pornography - the top 7 websites in the US are Facebook, YouTube, Google, and Amazon - the next three are all hardcore pornography.
    Complete and total sexual degeneracy.
    The sexualization of CHILDREN
Child "transgenders" getting hormone injections and mutilating their genitalia, then being featured in TV commercials and dancing in gay bars for tips.
150 pound communist drug addicts in black skinny jeans and ski masks taking over the streets of major cities, assaulting people, and facing no prosecution for doing so.
Endless wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Syria. More on the way in Venezuela and Iran - NONE OF WHICH benefit US citizens in any way.
College campuses overrun by open communists and homosexuals.
No fault divorce, sexual "liberation", and complete destruction of the traditional family unit.
    Gay marriage.
GOP'ers worried about taxing George Soros too much.
    Wage stagnation.
Destruction and exportation of US labor and manufacturing to Communist China.
    Opiod use at all-time high.
    "Red Flag" gun laws

But hey - let's make regulation of extreme left-wing "capitalist" San Francisco tech giants a "hill to die on", fellow "conservatives" (who have "conserved" Jack Sh!t).

If you want to get real meta with it, you could say Facebook and the like were the beta test for a future database of everyone. So the government can spy on us....but tinfoil aside. Corporations are increasingly becoming very close to having government style powers and influence. Which isn’t a good thing to say the least...

I'm familiar with The Communist Manifesto and I have a Boomer "pocket Constitution". Teddy Roosevelt probably saved America from a communist revolution due to his busting of the corrupt trusts and having the stones to take on the Banksters like JP Morgan.

Nazis also drank water. You should stop drinking water immediately.

Environmental regulations and minimum wage are Communist and Nazi ideas. You might want to read the Communist Manifesto and the Nazi Party platform of 1920. And then try reading the U.S. Constitution.

to be fair, you’re lumping several things that are caused by several reasons and some aren’t relevant to each other, just more on a moral beliefs.

Yes radio will save America in this age of the internet. Forget that 90% of all communications take place online now. "Major Dittos" will save us.

Instead of The Communist Manifesto or The US Constitution, the most relative reading on the subject of technology subverting and enslaving all of humanity was written much more recently by a former math professor.

Rush Limbaugh (who has been on air since 1988 and the most listen to since 1988), Sean Hannity (on air since 2001 second most listen to), Mark Levin (since 2006), Glenn Beck (since 2002) have a "monopoly". The FCC was thinking about doing this by bringing back the Fairness Doctrine.

Without getting political, people watching porn and having divorce isn’t the same as our illegal immigrations issue and endless wars. What the first few have to do with republicans is a mystery.

Well, since Conservatism is about "conserving" the good - and by proxy, moral - things about the US that have existed since this country's founding, my assertion is that they have failed in this mission in every possible way imaginable. Whether it be the Founders views on firearms, "foreign entaglements", immigration standards, or issues of morality, the Republican party has not only failed to conserve these ideals, but actively worked to destroy them.

John Boehner is now a paid lobbyist for the "pot industry", for example.

70's Joe Biden and 90's Bill Clinton were more "conservative" on issues than the GOP reps we have today.

This shall be my last post on this matter, as it’s getting waaay off topic. But you’re not taking in account the factors that allows mass immigration, the wars in the east, and drug crisis. It is not fair or logical to just say conservatives failed without looking into what made it that way. Now you can say what you will on morality of porn, gay marriage and other moral panics. But once again, it’s not really something that republicans are at fault for.

Back on topic, while Facebook and other social media sites are useful to meet new people if you’re shy or like to keep tabs on family that lives far way. It is also pretty good for emerging artists to get their works out there. But on the bad side of things, the spying on the people that have accounts, and the slowly increasing censorship that being use to quite certain people. And it only getting worse.

Republicans aren't "solely" to blame for this sorry state. It's not just the old-fashioned right in this country that has been destroyed, but the left of the good ol' days in America has been completely subverted, as well. I'm not talking about the hardcore communists, but the traditional left-wing that had existed in this county up until probably the mid-late 70's. The left wing that used to be known as the party of anti-war, environmentalism, and trade unions - none of which I have a problem with, really. Now what are they? They are the party of 3rd world immigration and sexual deviance - both of which please the oligarchs. Both sides of the ultra-wealthy political coin approve of the way things are headed. Cheap, easy to control, 3rd world labor arriving exponentially by the day, and the population descended from the people who built the place who have traditionally believed in the church, the family unit, limited government, and "rugged individualism" isolated, strung out on drugs, and engaging in degenerate behavior.

"Never mind that your wages are being depressed by foreign workers at home and abroad. You can just spend your pittance of a salary on the cheap cover charge at your local gay disco or spend hours alone and isolated in your dank basement watching endless hours of totally free hardcore pornography. Waste your life away on cheap goods and digital degenerate pleasures of the flesh brought to by our "capitalist" internet!"

America isn't even a country anymore. America is now just an "economic zone" - a giant Walmart populated by a "new man" that possesses no higher aspirations or ideals greater than his own self-indulgence and desire to collect worthless consumer goods and Chinese trinkets as he wanders through the gay disco drooling like a zombie due to the massive dose of oxycontin or meth he has ingested.

If we, the human race, don't get control of this rapidly evolving technology - technology that is now "thinking" on its own and overtaking many jobs formerly done by actual people - it will end up enslaving and oppressing us even more than it already does. How many of you have a kid who can't keep his face out of a cell phone or a mother who works an 8 hour day only to spend the rest of her day in the bed playing Farmville or some other mindless Facebook drivel on a laptop?

This isn't about capitalism or elevating people or society. It's about control. This is precisely why no one in the political class has the stones to do anything about it, though I have been told that after having most of the people responsible for getting him elected cleansed from social media and banned from banks and internet payment processors that Trump is "looking into it".
