CZ82 Muzzle erosion

I have two CZ82 9x18 pistols.

I am thinking about having the muzzle cleaned up on my first one. What pistolsmith would you recommend for such a task?


My PW Arms import has some muzzle erosion. This pistol prints high and right.




My newly acquired TGI import has perfect muzzle. I haven't had a chance to test fire it yet.

I definitely dig the look with the hidden import marks.

I would do this yourself. Take a ball bearing or marble thatis slightly larger than your bore, then some fine grit sandpaper like 1200, and with the slide off the frame and the grit side toward the lands, use the bearing or marble to slowly work the rough edges off.

This was a method that old timer gunsmiths sometimes used. It will not fix a really damaged muzzle, but for stuff like what was pictured, it works well.
