1944 Izhevsk M38 DDR /1\

Postby Miller Tyme » Sat Jan 14, 2012 5:19 pm

Well my quest for odd & rare 1944 Mosin Nagants to fill out my collection has lead to another. Actually this one found me, and thanks to "Ken in Iowa" I now have DDR marked M38 with an intresting set of rear sling eschons.

Any problem can be solved with the proper application of high explosives, the trick is to not be around when they go off.

Very cool!

Do you think that SSEs were "field applied"? They don't appear to be the same as any other screw type SSE I've seen. Very unique!
