I have now watched the 2nd installment of Suarez International's AK DVD's a couple times and it, like the 1st DVD, is full of good info.

DVD #2 focuses on more movement and has some interesting techniques of moving from one shooting position to the other and it also covers some of the techniques shown the the first DVD in more detail.

Overall, a good addition to anybody's collection of training DVD's. There are a few editing errors in the video but it's nothing that'll detract from the overall presentation of the material.

Anyone in the DFW area have it and would be willing to host a preview?

I might have to check this video out - $43.99, price must have come down. Too Simple to be Tactical - I like it already.

I just loaned my copy to a co-worker who prides himself on having a "nose for BS."

He likes the DVD and thinks most techniques are valid and viable. He agrees with me when I say, "If this video had been produced by Gunsite or Larry Vickers, it would probably be the standard DVD for all US-based AK training."

Ok my 2 cents here! I knew nothing of this person till my buddy gave me his dvd and what I saw was crap? I see how he stole from Sunny Pusikas most of beyond the firearm and maybe some of his own stuff possibly 10% his 90% beyond the firearm. Now I am no armchair commando I was US MARINE in a line company and I know for a fact my training was the shit! I guess if you knew nothing about firearms or never been trained to use them in a combat enviroment I could see how you can take some things in the video as good info. As for my opinion if you want a GOOD dvd get beyond the firearm it has great value and good solid techniques which in my opinion are sound.

I own both dvds (Gabes and Sonny) and both contain useful information. I don't think Gabe "stole"anything from Sonny as they are both friends. Gabe is just teaching his variation of some techniques. I like Gabes simplified cut through the BS style of teaching. His videos are good and worth the money. I do agree that the Marine Corps training especially in the cqb realm are second to none. Too bad they don't offer any Kalashnikov training.

I might be resurecting a dead thread here.

the video is ok.
the production quality is very low, particularly when compared to the magpul/DD/pantaeo stuff

There is good info for extreme cqb.
very little discussion of anything beyond 15m.
If you're iffy about buying/selling with me, here's a place where I have more street cred
