Same here. Retro parts, fine. Otherwise the market is glutted with AR parts with little to differentiate them.
Only your sales numbers can tell you if AR parts are worth it.
There are so many companies that offer that stuff already. I think you're better off acquiring AK related items that are more unique.
Want to buy:
1966 East German AKM kit
TYPE 1 kit
North Korean kit
Serbian M76 sniper vest (M-99 A3)
If I was not on some government watch list, I'd be insulted.
By its nature it isn't made anymore and has limited availability.
The President stopped US surplus with the Executive Action, everything else is limited by a variety of gov't agencies, agreements and simple economics.
When it comes to surplus goods, the safe bet is to buy it while it is available and do not count on it being available again.
Something I see picking up in popularity is RPK, RPKS, RPK74 kits... Germany and poland both imported both, if they are rpk/rpks 1972 or before there is a NDS receiver available for them. Molot isn't on the sanction list...
Any updates on parts kits goodness?
AKM I wait patiently.
I'm always game for new AKM kits. They sure beat the hell out of all those AR and other fantasy type of accessories.
