    My favorite build? Probably not.

Any of them will hold up fine with proper care after being wet....just don't put it off.

I would if I had to. Hell the humidity here is rough enough on them during the summer. Clean and oil afterwards and your good to go.

I'd take five of the six out into the nasty weather. The Definitive Arms, well, I treat that a bit nicer.

My AK's are like my HD bike. If they don't leave a little oil spot wherever you park them, then they ain't runnin' right. I keep mine Ballistol'ed up enough that they might even float if I threw them in deep water. And yeah, what is rain?
DREMEL, Gods little gift to the AK owner/operator.

If it aint' propelled by gunpowder or a petroleum product, it's not in my hands!!

I'd take any of my guns out into the rain, I have nothing really "heirloom" quality, everything I own is a shooter, so why not... I am fairly diligent about cleaning them when I get home.

Who the hell shoots in the rain?

Unless we're in SHTF mode, there is really no reason to shoot in the rain.

Having said they, sure, why not. This is how my 64 Romy usually rides.

Time I did it, we got caught in a freak Monsoon storm. Actually evacuated the valley in case of flash floods. Went back 15 minutes later once the sun came out.

Yes, that's Mehico behind that fence.

Washington state is about the same maybe a little less. About 5 months of ok weather and 7 months of crappy weather.

Yes, pretty much every gun I have ever owned has been out in the rain.

Glad no one saw me licking the screen.

One of my practical builds rain wouldn't bother me in the least. They all have Cerakote or appliance epoxy finishes. Blued builds with wood furniture probably would get quickly secured in a dry place or put back in the waterproof case.

Should be even better yet. I found a palmswell lower for it and it should be wearing it in a couple days!
