    Polands SVD-M

SVD-M sniper rifle. In the middle of 90ies about 70 of original russian Dragunovs have been reworked - they have reworked barrels, new polish made LD-6 sniper scopes and new bipods. This project has been abandoned very fast, cause the construction of Dragunov is just too old.

Furnished with optical dative (viewfinder) / photo SWD-M PCO LD-6x42 many lives has weapon contrary to person Bartosz Szymonik. This thought is still current in context of renewal susceptibility of shooting construction particularly, produced sometimes and several decades ago. So, modifying of weapon happens more frequently and fitting for new claims (demand), from its (her) primary (original) role different sometimes. American fates can be example M14, which (who) began as rifle troop land-based przepisowy, meanwhile, it has become elite weapon ( american M21 and M25, lithuanian ) M14L1 and ( 14 ) parawyborową Mk Mod 0/M14 EBR. It has been substituted with pistol catch original wood decorate universal assembly rails (tracks) cast łoże kompozytowym, slid has appeared instead of constant (solid) flask (butt), but it is possible for weapon on any (every) various manners from optical dative (viewfinder) accessories podczepiać and on laser index (indicator) beginning dwójnogu if (or) combat illumination finishing. Used could hurry similar expensive (dear) < way > also and in (to) rifle elite WP SWD. Unfortunately,, renewal process has stopped on certain period, but small number of modified construction has fallen into oblivion. But damage, so, despite fact, that weapon is supplied from arming cartridge 7,62 mm leaving (go out) 54 -( x as it is possible to say it about engine rifle just also PK/PKM, which (who) will be as (serve) by long in (to) else lat < summer > < year > ) WP, however, it could be of service after introduction of change some (certain) time (sometimes) else, new attachment of (complement of) repeatable construction supplied presenting ammunition standard NATO. Fact omitting, that carry away (get down) could bear fruit during modernization of experience new, polish rifle samopowtarzalnym. Farthest pull in number

It may be an "old" design much as they describe the M14 to be. But dammit, it's an elegant rifle with alot going for it.
Very much like the M14 that way.

That's a really rough translation from Polish!

No matter what people say, I'll never sell my Cali Tiger (Baby SVD as I call it) It's so much fun to shoot and it gets so much attention at the range!!!

I was going to offer you $20,000 for it. Oh well, I guess that I won't.

Old construction? Fine, then send me one my way dang it! LOL!!!!
Without ammo, it may as well be an expensive door jam or paperweight.....

All your guns don't mean squat if you don't have the ammo to feed them....

Do they not use the cheek piece on the SVD-M's? It looks like the Polish scope mount has the optic sitting on or very near the centerline of the rifle, but even without the cheek piece I'd think the chin weld would kinda suck.

bcax im gaining info on the ld-6 optic again. why did they replace the barrels on the original 70 rework specimens? was it to covert to 308 like polands new pkm- ukm or was it just impossible at that point to find svd rifles in Poland with perfectly new barrels? is the scope calibrated still for 762x54 and how clear are the optics like good german glass or foggy like Russian mass produced pso-1m2?
