Dragunov SVD Cut-Away Found in Iraq

Guys, I posted this on the "other" site for the Drag collectors and thought I would do it here. Yesterday I found a Russian Dragunov SVD cut-away training rifle. It's Russian, dated 1984, with the brown laminated wood, all the parts. It's been cut-away in various parts of the rifle with the borders of the cuts highlighted in red to show the workings of the rifle for training.

If anyone is interested I can take more photos of it but I cannot host them. I will get a better camera and take some detailed photos - the ones I took sucked because of my almost ten-year old digital camera. Thought it might be of interest to the Drag gurus here.

    Great pics!

I want to say that it was done as a cutaway by the E.Germans. Their cutaway AKs are done exactly like that....

That top cover is strange to me. Could it be a modified cover to the all stamped Iraqi Dragunov-like rifle?

I've already sent the top cover to a "safe" location from here but if memory serves me, the top cover matches the receiver. I'm pretty sure it's Russian.
