    Exclamation Polytech Legend help

I have a bit of a time sensitive situation.

I have the opportunity to acquire a polytech legend

    listing is 1800

    model AK-47/S
    K F S atlanta GA (importer?)
it just says poly tech, beijing china on the side

condition is near new. has some minor handling marks. looks new to be honest though. rifling is crisp/

anyone more experienced here have advice?

normally i would research into these models, learn more about it, etc but because its so time sensitive (and I am at work) i dont have much choice but to ask you guys for help

is that a good price, it include bayonet and sling

    i dont have any pics

Cash, face to face deal only. No wire transfers or shipping. $1800 is a good price.

Good price for a Legend today. Very rare for the fixed stock Legend to be faked, since the MAK-90 uses the receiver from the underfolder assembled as a MAK-90 before the holes are drilled for the folder. The rear of the underfolder is a multi-angle cut where the fixed stock Legend is the standard AK squared off.

This...do it now. Is it an under folder or full stock?

Not to be rude, but the OP seems to be unsure of Legend characteristics. I've seen some interesting descriptions on guns at LGS. Just to be clear, Legend is a milled gun, Polytech also made stamped, nonLegend AKs

    Stamped Not Legend:

Pix were quickly pulled from Google images.

One of the few things you can say about a Chinese AK variant without getting into my "the only rule" is that Poly Tech stamped their Legends with the fabled AK-47/S and were one of the few to actually call a Kalashnikov an "AK-47". Their stamped models were all named AKS-762 or AKS-223.

There were some stamped Norincos that used the media's AK-47 nametag, but the rifle in the first post is marked as a Poly Tech and therefore the AK-47/S does denote it as a Legend.

The example picture you sent is exactly what it looks like. engravings are even in the same spots.

I am kind of in a pinch as I have to pick between car tires or this AK. I am trying to selling some other AK's to help fund this project (if i sell the two AK's I can afford both)

If you are interested, they are in the WTS AK rifles lol

Buy the rifle, sell yours, and then get the tires. I am no expert, but if that's what you want, get it and everything else will fall into place eventually.
