Hello all,
I am new here and also new to the AK platform. I recently purchased an Arsenal SAM7SF and upon initial inspection noticed the front sight post was half-turned so it was not perpendicular to the barrel. I tried to turn it with the factory provided sight tool and pretty quickly bent that to where it was unusable - it was pretty flimsy to begin with. Following that, I purchased a TAPCO AK sight adjustment tool and after trying to turn the front sight post the hardest I could, it will still not budge. I have also tried tapping with a hammer and punch to try loosening the front sight post and it is just frozen solid in place.
Any thoughts or suggestions on getting this sucker loose and turning so it is properly positioned? Pictures attached for reference below:
Thank you in advance for looking and any help!
