Johno.....Greetings. Just want to introduce myself. I'm Terry Blevins also know as PhotoDude007 here on the board. Others have called me asxhole, sum bxtch, mxther fxcker and so on but I am a nice guy who really likes to help others if I can contribute to a worthy cause. Krinkfreak introduced me to the beauty of assault rifles when I had visited him in Feb 05 and then I got the fever, just ask Krinkfreak. We actually went to a gun show where I was able to get my very first M-4 kit for $415 and a DPMS lower receiver for $100 and Krinkfreak showed me the assembly process. Yup that's $515 for a complete M-4. Not bad and I could not have done it myself. Krinkfreak deserves all the credit! Since I have purchased a few AK's and have a few at the gunsmith, Troy Sellars, being built and love to collect them now. Before I was an avid handgun collector and I reload all my handgun ammunition but when I was awakened to the assault rife world I was astonished and fell in love with the beauty of these rifles. Okay......the beer is cold now so I must end this. Take care.........PhotoDude007

    Good to see everyone here!

I'm Tim, I've been into AK's since the early 80's like John. Soldier of Fortune magazine in the early 80's had a profound effect on me.

    I'm 35, no kids.

I spent 18 years in the retail firearms industry until I made a change late last year to something completely different, seismic testing.

I'm still whole heartedly an AK guy, although I enjoy just about everything that goes "BANG!", whether it's a matchlock or a caseless rifle.

    I like the topic !!

I'm 35 live in WI. I have a wife that's an RN - Two great kids - 10 and 6. I enjoy collecting AK's, FAL's, M1's, AR's, 1911's & as much original equipement for them as can find. Oh yea, sometimes I get to shoot.

My winters are spent shuttling my son from Ski hill to Ski hill for him to compete in GS races. This is a pic I took yesterday of him. My Nikon digital grabbed him and blurred the background. I thought it was an amazing shot. The other picture is of my family and I in Fl.

    Stottman,

You have a great assignment. I was there at Patch Barracks working for EUCOM (worked in the ETCC) in 1998 for OJG.

Spent three years at Ramstein, and while I was there visited Chiemsee and Garmisch....nothing like drinking weizen bier at the top of the Zugspitz!!

    Don't ever leave.

    Welcome!!
