    A REAL Bulgarian AK-74....

    Hey guys,

Any desire at all for this gem? It is a true AK-74 built in Bulgaria by ISD and imported by TGI. Chambered in 5.45x39mm, this AK-74 fetures an original Bulgarian Chrome-lined 16" barrel with 24mm threads and a 74 brake with a small tack weld. We finish the gun here with Ironwood Designs' beech furniture and a hand-rubbed coat of Tung oil and light shellac for durability. They also feature Tapco US fire control so they are fully 922r compliant with any magazine. The rifle will ship with one 30rd Bulgarian magazine and our Deluxe soft assault case.

    Yes, this is a SSR-85 in 5.45x39mm.

Retail should fall right around $650, let me know if you would be interested.....

very cool! I figured thats what Arsenal/Kvar is doing w/ their SGL now too... just importing them minus the furniture/FCG or shipping the US Parts to them for the install before importation.

A real Bulgarian AK for $650 is an incredible deal!

They will be available at all our regular distributors, but bugging your favorite one for it may get it to them faster.

ISD is a very well-known factory in Bulgaria, same quality as Arsenal. They make the gun there at ISD and we finish it here at TG with hicapping and 922r compliance. Thanks,

Is the furniture Warsaw Pact length? I presume so but thought I'd ask.

I hope you have plenty coming through as this looks to be a hot item.

    No, it is not.
Will it be in the future?

So will the bayo lug have the ears cut off of will there be a weld on the bottom? Will the brake be tacked on as well? This isnt the same factory that makes the Arcus hi-powers is it? Do you have a pic of the trunnion markings? I think something other then ((10)) would be good for the collection, ((21)) or (25) to go with the mags.

bayonet lug ears are gone, brake is tacked. This is NOT Arcus, it is ISD. Different factories. ISD made all the SSR-85 rifles. This is the same thing in 5.45. Same as the 7.62 SSR's the trunnions only have the serial numbers. Thanks.

I understand the 7.62 model was a demill rebuilt on a reciever made by ISD ,so these are built from Demilled Arsenal 74s and a ISD reciever.? Was ISD a military contractor supplying anything similiar, parts or recievers during the time when 74s were actually in production at any of the Bulgarian factorys ?
