This shooting pushed back our "hearing protection act" would have made suppressors a lot easier to obtain.

That had already lost most of its momentum a while ago. While I don't think this incident helped, I doubt the HPA would have been any worse or better off without it.

I think the shooter just wanted to drain the swamp a little quicker.

I never thought it would happen. I had some glimmer of hope but in reality I didn't think it would fly. Too many different laws from too many states.

    And then there's this

    http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017/...elley.amp.html

Thursday evening, CBS's Scott Pelley, who officially ended his tenure as the network's Evening News anchor the following evening, told viewers that "It's time to ask whether the attack on the United States Congress Wednesday was foreseeable, predictable and, to some degree, self-inflicted."

So in other words if I don't agree with you you deserve to be shot and it's your fault!

Jesus this shit is unreal. Justifiable violence from the left if anyone with a different view doesn't fall in line. These people are beating on a dangerous door. They don't want to know or see who will answer. This is all very well coordinated from all sides. Perhaps it's time to follow the money and see who is at the top pushing this shit.

Will we fall for it? It would be against the norm not to.

Drink the coolaid and be a good student. Don't question authority and do as we say and one day you be a leader and have your own voice.

That pretty much sums it up. Children/people being taught to not think, but follow.

I don't know why but you quote reminds me of Pink Floyd the wall.
