i say YES. just got an AMD65 a while back... always thought they were ugly and awkward looking, but came across a great deal and thought i might re-sell... but i LOVE the way it shoots. in the process of fitting wood handguards to it and having a different brake welded on...

Here is a review of one from December of last year. That price seems pretty cheap I just don't really like the AMD-65 series of rifles but that's just my personal preference.

To be honest im not a fan of the Hungarian wire stock or the front grip (30 round mags are a pain to insert) but i thought for the price ...a nice trunk/extra shtf rifle. Problem is im also looking at a newer (also used) HK USP 45, which is a little more then double the price of the AMD

For $350 I'd definitely buy it. The cheapest you'll find them online is $440 from Centerfire, and that doesn't include shipping or FFL transfer.

That is a great price on an AMD-65. I have two, one of which is an almost constant range companion. Light weight and little recoil, that funny looking AMD brake does a great job of taming felt recoil.

US made wood grips are available for a good price. Dont have the email address, but these are extra nice although sans ferrule.

YES, get it. They are fun to shoot and make so much noise it will scare the shit out of everyone around you. The wire stock is manageable once you get used to it.
